Carnelian Gotland Ball (12 mm)

A beautiful mini version of the Gotland ball, 12mm, in an intricate handmade fitting. Carnelian is a red/brown version of chalcedony that was highly appreciated in the Viking age. Nowadays the stone is connected to courage and vitality.

The original, a 10th century Viking pendant, was found in Gotland and is called ”fröjelkulan”.
